ABSTRACT:

The paper highlights how marketing mix variables which include product, price, promotion and place, can be used in the provision of library services towards effective tourism development in Cross River State, Nigeria. It is recommended that Cross River State Tourism Bureau should have its own functional library and should also collaborate with other libraries in the state (University of Calabar Library, Cross River State University of Technology Library, Cross River State Public Library etc.) in order to provide access to relevant information to enhance tourism development in the state.
